New Meizu MX5 Leaked Renders Reveal Design Changes

Meizu’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the MX5, is expected to be unveiled sometime in August of this year and today two new design renders of what looks like the new device have been leaked online. The people who leaked these new images claim that the device featured in them is indeed the Meizu MX5 but, looking at the images, there are clear differences with the device’s design when compared to older released renders of the MX5.First off, the latest leaked renders show a borderless screen design which was not found on previous renders. Secondly, the home button on the device in the new renders is a lot thinner and similar to the one found on the Samsung Galaxy S6. Previously released renders have shown a rounder and taller home button. The differences in these new renders make us doubt if they really feature the Meizu MX5 but if they are legitimate then a […]

Meizu MX5 Gets The National 3C Certification, Supports Fast Charging

Just yesterday we came across two possible models of the upcoming Meizu MX5 flagship. The models namely M575M and M575U were both listed on TENAA with some specs details. Now, both the devices has received the Nation 3C Certification. This certification also reveals that the Meizu MX5 will support high-voltage fast charging technology. One of the documents show that both the models, M575M and M575U will support fast charging. However, if this is true, then we wonder if the chipset inside is really Helio X10. The listing didn’t specify the name of the chip, but only mentioned that the phone will be powered by an octa-core 2.3GHz chipset. With support for fast charging, it could also be a different Mediatek processor.Of course, we still haven’t confirmed that these two models are Meizu MX5, but given their specs and the timing of certification, it should logically be the next Meizu flagship device.Yesterday’s […]

So, earlier rumors about the Meizu M2 launching at the event could be false. We can also see the number 630 etched on top of the helmet along with the words full metal jacket. Logically, this doesn’t make much sense, but if we had to find a link, it could be related to […]
