Huawei’s entry level Honor smartphone hits TENAA, features a gold colored frame
Huawei is quite busy working on a number of new smartphones for launch later this year. Looks like, among the Huawei Honor 7 and the Mate 8 flagships, the company will be unveiling an entry level Honor device in the market. A new phone with the code name SCL-AL00 recently hit TENAA, revealing the looks as well as limited features of the device.
Unlike the usual tradition, TENAA did not reveal any particular specs of the device. But we did find some pictures, which reveals a basic plastic design with a metal frame. The highlight of the phone’s design was the gold colored frame, which kind of sets it apart from the other low level offerings in the market.
However, we know very little about the specs. The phone will support TD-LTE, LTE FDD, TD-SCDMA, WCDMA, CDMA2000, CDMA 1X and GSM networks. Other than that TENAA does not list any details of the device.
But according to a Geekbench listing of a device in February, with the same code name, Huawei SCL-AL00, the phone will feature a quad-core Qualcomm chipset clocked at 1.1GHz with 2GB RAM and Android 5.0.
We expect a lot more details in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
