OnePlus Teases Possible OnePlus Two Announcement on June 1

The OnePlus Two, the successor to the highly popular OnePlus One, has been one of the most anticipated smartphones in the industry in the past year and it looks like the company is close to revealing the new smartphone according to a teaser the company posted on their Twitter page.

oneplus-two-launch-teaser-01While the teaser doesn’t directly refer to the OnePlus Two, the teaser message that says “We’re always looking for ways to shake up the tech industry. And we think it’s time for change. Find out more June 1” as well as the accompanying illustration showing an unfinished drawing of an OnePlus One with the caption “Time to change” below all point to the reveal of the company’s next smartphone.

The teaser comes soon after the new device was spotted as part of a couple of benchmarking software. The benchmarking software, along with OnePlus CEO Pete Lau in a recent posts in his Weibo account, revealed that the OnePlus Two will feature a 5.5-inch full HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, 3GB of RAM, a 3,300mAh battery, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

While we’re pretty sure that the June 1 event will see the company unveil its new smartphones along with its official name, there’s still a chance that the company will reveal something completely different. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens on Monday.
