UMI and Its Partners Are Giving Away UMI Iron Smartphones

As promised by the company last week, UMI is hosting a big set of giveaways of its latest flagship Iron smartphone. The company is running the giveaway on its Facebook page as well as through the websites of its retail partners which include Coolicool, Banggood, Geekbuying, eFox, Antelife, TO2C, and PandaWill.

While all the giveaways run from June 23 to June 29, the mechanics of UMI’s Facebook giveaway and the giveaways by its partners differ. UMI asks its fans to Like their Facebook page, share the post, and comment all the hidden information found on the image in the post. On the other hand, the partner giveaways only requires fans to choose their favorite specifications of the Iron and explain why those specifications were chosen. Additionally, the winner of UMI’s Facebook page giveaway will be announced on the 29th while the winners of the partner giveaways will be announced a day after on the 30th.

As a refresher, the UMI Iron comes in an all-metal body that measures only 7.9mm thin and features FullHD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display along with a MediaTek MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM. It also features a 13-megapixel rear camera with a Sony IMX214 sensor coupled with a dual LED flash, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with its own LED flash, and a DirectPath 25MW audio chip for Hi-Fi audio. Additionally, the new device will come with Android 5.1 Lollipop with UMI’s own UI on top.

UMI does not specifically mention that fans are not allowed to join all the giveaways so it would be a good idea to go to join UMI’s Facebook page giveaway as well as the ones by its partners to maximize your chance of winning.
